Kelowna Running Club Pub Relay
The 21st annual Kelowna Pub Relay is designed to be simple, fast and above all, not taken too seriously!
The race will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2019 and run 37 awesome kms - or something darn close to that - covering six legs, stopping at six amazing Kelowna Pubs. The catch… one of you has to enjoy two beverages on your run... and well, new year means new course!
Registered teams of six runners will show up in their costumes at the Start/Finish (Rusty's Sports Lounge) at 10:15 am and be handed a map of the first leg and the Baton. The runner and team take off for the next Pub/Exchange, collect a map, baton and a beverage, until, 6 legs later, we arrive back for lunch, a beverage and of course prizes at Rusty's Sports Lounge, where a silent auction will also take place.
Your $288 team entry covers your 6-person team's course beer, lunch, and a post-race pint ($48.00 per person)
Prizes for best team costumes and much more!
Relay leg distances are: 1) 6.3K 2) 5.9K 3) 3.8K 4) 5.1K 5) 5.8K 6) 5.4K
50% of the 2019 proceeds will go to the Kelowna Running Club, the other 50% of the proceeds with be donated to HOPE Outreach Kelowna.
