1969-12-31 15:00:00 1969-12-31 16:30:00 America/Vancouver Dessert and a Show Love original songs and stories? You'll love Dessert And A Show! Jim and Kim Rhindress throw the best music parties and YOU'RE invited! These well known entertainers have performed at a wide variety of venues and events throughout Kelowna, across Canada and Mexico. Jim has been playing guitar professionally since he was 15 and is the owner of JR Guitar (luthier and repair). Kim is a graduate of Western Conservatory of Music and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and is the owner of Kelowna Voice Lab where she teaches singing for all styles of music. Together, they entertain sold-out events with original songs that tell stories from their travels across Canada. Kim plays piano, bass, accordion and melodeon and Jim plays guitar. They are currently recording an album of original songs and look forward to sharing their songs and stories with you. What will the show look like? You will arrive at our modern downtown Kelowna home at 3:00 p.m. where you will enjoy tea, coffee and a home made gluten free dessert. (If you would like to bring wine or beer that's great - glasses/opener will be provided). At 3:30, everyone will be seated in our home concert space where we will perform an hour of stories and original songs written and based on our travels abroad and across Canada. Our family friendly concert will take you on a journey of the people and places we've been. Our songs and stories will have you laughing, possibly singing along and may even bring a tear to your eye. Around 4:30, our show will be over and guests may depart. Cost is $25.00 per person - seating is limited - phone Kim at 250.878.8724 or email kim@kelownavoicelab.com to reserve your spot.
