Join Encaustic Bee Artist Kelly Maier on a tour of her show featuring “Bumble Bee Colony in Springtime” and larger-than-life encaustic portraits of wild bees. Join the discussion as we learn how to identify wild bees, what factors are affecting the species, and what you can do to be a part of the growing community of people working to make a difference. Leave with resources to help you identify wild bees, recognize wild bee-loving plants, have a visual guide to bumble bees and a new checklist of the 25 bumble bees found in the Okanagan. This tour and talk is free, so invite all your bee-loving friends.
