“Annie The Musical” – A KCS Theatre Production
Leapin' Lizards! Annie, that fearless comic strip heroine, takes to the stage at Kelowna Christian School in one of the world's best-loved musicals!
Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, the plucky young Annie is forced to live a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairy-tale Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family.
Join us for this year’s Annual High School Drama Production of “Annie” showing every evening at 7:00pm from February 28 – March 2, 2019 in the Anne Rauser Hall at the Kelowna Christian School Middle & High School campus (2870 Benvoulin Road). Can’t make it in the evening? No problem, grab the whole family and join us for the Saturday matinee at 2pm.
Don’t miss out on this great, family friendly show! It has all those well-known songs such as, “It’s the Hard-Knock Life!” and of course join us in singing, “tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya tomorrow, you’re only a day away.”
Coffee and goodies will be available for your enjoyment too. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the KCS Performing Arts Department to allow KCS students future opportunities to perform dramatic and musical productions for our local community.
