Disney is swapping one Bob CEO for another. On Tuesday, news came out that Bob Iger would be stepping down as CEO of the multi-billion dollar company. Disney quickly announced that Bob Chapek, who most recently served as chairman of Disney parks, experiences and products, would be his replacement.

A new discovery in northern India is challenging the theory that the Toba supervolcano eruption left humans on the brink of extinction. Initially, it was thought that the eruption pretty much wiped out humanity in that part of the world, but stone tools found in 2018 have shown that humans didn’t only survive the eruption, but thrived.

More than 80,000 cases of coronavirus have now been reported worldwide and a second person has died in France. The worldwide death toll is now over 2,700, but most are in China and other parts of Asia. Italy has now placed 50,000 people in quarantine, while other countries are introducing travel bans and other measures to try and prevent the spread of the disease.
