Iconic 70's disco band Boney M. will perform in the South Okanagan later this winter where they will perform their classic hits and holiday favorites.
"Boney M. was not only THE disco cult band of the 70's and 80's but remains a living legend of the entire disco era," stated a release.
The performance will feature original lead singer Liz Mitchell who'se vocals have proven "irresistible to radio, dance floors and party goers" over the decades.
Having sold 100 million records worldwide, Boney M. has eight number one hits on the European charts and is known for huge international hits such ‘Daddy Cool’, ‘Sunny’, ‘Ma Baker’, ‘Belfast’, ‘Rivers of Babylon’, ‘Brown Girl in the Ring’, ‘Rasputin’ and‘Mary's Boy Child’.
Opening for Boney M. is New York-based soul singer, songwriter Morgan James, who the Huffington Post proclaimed as the "Brightest Breakout Artist of the Year".
