UPDATE: Hwy 3 reopens near Manning Park

(UDPATE: Sept. 12 @ 8 pm) - The vehicle incident on Hwy 3 near Manning Park has been cleared and the road is fully open to traffic once again.

(Original story: Sept. 12 @ 3:15 pm) - Hwy 3 has been closed following a vehicle incident near Eastgate.

No estimated time of reopening is available.

The incident occurred at East Gate Road FSR and Pasayten River FSR.

An assessment is in progress, Drive BC said.

Motorists are advised to take Hwy 5 and 5A instead.
